About us

Brent Landkammer, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Brent is an Inland Northwest native, though he has spent a good amount of time abroad. He was born in Spokane and raised in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. He attended the University of Idaho for two years, then joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65). After his discharge, Brent returned to Moscow to finish school and graduated in 1994 with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He then moved to Oregon, where he worked in counseling for almost 20 years until returning to Idaho to go to nursing school. He graduated in 2012 from Lewis-Clark State College and worked as an RN for a few years before being accepted to nurse practitioner school, graduating in 2018.

Brent is a graduate of Gonzaga University and a graduate of the University of Idaho. In addition to being a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) since 2018, he was also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for over 20 years. Brent sees patients of all ages, but primarily those about 12 and older and under about 70. He can effectively treat any diagnosis using both medication management and cognitive-behavioral therapy, but really enjoys working with ADHD and lower-spectrum Autism and Bipolar Disorder.

Brent is divorced and has 7 kids, though all but the two youngest are grown and out of the house.  He loves the outdoors, and most anything water related. He loves to camp, hike, boat, swim, fish, garden, and travel with his kids and family. He also loves to cook, especially for friends and family.  Brent is an accomplished nerd and eternal gamer. Although he enjoys some of the restaurants and shops big cities have to offer, he is a country boy at heart as well as a river rat. "I've been everywhere, and I like it best in northern Idaho and eastern Washington".
